In the days leading up to UFC 264 Conor McGregor promised that he was going to send Dusitin Poierier out in a stretcher in their trilogy fight in Las Vegas.

Well, McGregor wasn’t that far off in that prediction – a fighter was carted out of the Octagon in Las Vegas but that fighter was McGregor, who suffered an ugly lower leg injury that stopped the fight after the first round and gave Poirier the win.

McGregor said some hideous things about Poirier’s wife while sitting in the Octagon after the fight and then was put on a stretcher and taken back to the locker room.
